Description
The discovery of exoplanets is one of the most significant scientific news in recent years. The seven new exoplanets, with sizes comparable to Earth, and at least three of them are in a "habitable zone," perhaps with liquid water on the surface, a condition that makes the formation of life more likely.
Dragon and Hypazia are luminous artworks inspired by this possibility. Made of MDF and backlit, the surface is created with putty and imprints to recreate the effect of celestial bodies' regolith, and oxidized copper leaf creates interesting chromatic effects.
